Aunt Helen's Cinnamon Flop
— A recipe my Mom learned as a teenager (I won't tell you when that was!) from a neighbor. —
Ingredients
- 1 tablespoon butter
- 1 cup of sugar
- 1 cup of milk
- 2 teaspoons baking powder
- 2 1/2 - 3 cups of flour (start with the smaller amount and add flour as needed)
Directions:
- Preheat oven to 350°.
- Beat and mix all ingredients together in a mixing bowl. Then put in a baking dish (9-inch is good).
- Put lots of dots of butter on top and sprinkle cinnamon all around. Cook for 35 minutes.
